Writers and thinkers from varying times and traditions have considered the Book of Job the most magnificent piece of writing in the Hebrew Bible. Martin Luther; Alfred, Lord Tennyson; Elie Weisel; and Martin Buber have called it sublime and a parable for every man. Over the course of five Sundays we will quickly examine the history of the text, the text itself, and the stunning illustrations which William Blake made of the text. Pat Kelly will lead the discussion.
