The Rev. Christian Senyoni will be visiting St. Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral on Sunday, April 23 and has invited us to a conversation on his personal and life-changing experience of the Rwandan Genocide of 1994. As he writes,
Four other siblings and I and our mother traveled through several countries seeking some kind of safety and lasting stability. Every family lost relatives in the killings. It was hard to reconcile reality with the faith that had been nurtured in us.
Please join Fr. Senyoni in the Parlor in the Diocesan House at 9 am to learn from someone with first-hand knowledge of one of the great tragedies and travesties of the last 30 years and how that has shaped him as a man of God.
Later that morning will be preaching and celebrating in the Sisters Chapel at 10 am.
