Quilling Cards: Quilling, the art of rolling or coiling and shaping of small strips of paper to create a design, dates back to Egyptian times. During the Renaissance, nuns and monks would roll gold-gilded paper remnants trimmed during the bookmaking process and use them to decorate religious objects as an alternative to costly gold filigree. The art got its name due to use of bird’s feathers (quill) to coil the paper upon. Today quilling is still practiced throughout the globe as an art form. Our cards are all handcrafted in Vietnam by artists who create three dimensional greeting cards. Don’t just send a card, send art!
We look forward to your visit!
