Greeters - Welcome Committee

Greeters serve on teams that rotate weekly to be present at services to meet and greet parishioners and newcomers. The greeters also help to recognize Newcomers and provide a personal welcome to the Cathedral, introducing them to parishioners and clergy and inviting them to attend the Hospitality Hour after the service. The Welcome Committee also staffs a Welcome Table during the Hospitality Hour and various parish events. The Welcome Table is a place where Newcomers can obtain pamphlets about Cathedral activities, request a name tag, sign up to receive parish communications or request to have clergy contact them. Newcomer parties are also hosted by the Welcome Committee several times a year.
