Music Director Dennis Janzer 10-Year Anniversary Concert Jan. 26

All are invited to hear St. Mary’s Music Director Dennis Janzer perform his original compositions and arrangements in concert on Sunday, January 26 at 3pm here at St. Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral. The concert is in celebration of his 10-year anniversary of providing music at St. Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral. This is a free event with a reception in Martyrs Hall following the performance. Free, secured parking is provided.

Dennis Janzer was recently granted an ASCAP Plus award, in the Concert Music category, in recognition of the performances of his published catalog of compositions. ASCAP (the American Society of Composers and Performers) licenses the music of a wide variety of artists. The ASCAP Plus Awards are given to artists whose work is judged to be artistically significant by an independent panel of distinguished music experts without regard to the music’s commercial success. The recipients include writers of music for educational use as well as "concert music" composers whose music is more likely to be heard in a concert hall or church than on the radio.
