If you said ’heaven,’ Biblical scholar N.T. Wright says, ’think again!’ In Surprised by Hope: Rethinking Heaven, the Resurrection, and the Mission of the Church, he argues that what we believe about life after death directly affects what we believe about life before death. Come join me for this mind-blowing exploration of the afterlife, our present life, and God’s ultimate purpose of bringing heaven to earth during this Easter season of resurrection.

We will meet on six Wednesday evenings, April 10-May 15 from 6:15-7:15 p.m. in Martyrs Hall at St. Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral, 700 Poplar, since Phase 2 of our construction at Calvary is underway! The optional meal at St. Mary’s will begin at 5:15. Copies of the book are available behind the counter at Novel.
